When should a business owner hire a business coach?

When the business still runs through you. Most owners I meet already work harder than anyone else. The trouble is every decision waits for them. Check this list against your last week:

• Staff check with you before small decisions they could make themselves.
• Nobody is sure where their job ends and someone else’s begins.
• Sales happen when you are in the meeting and slow down when you are not.
• How work gets done lives in your head, not on paper.

If two or more sound like your week, the fix is to write down who does what and train the team to follow it. Some owners call it running the business on autopilot, and it is the core of my systems implementation work.

What does a business coach do?

A business coach works with you and your team to fix how the business runs day to day. I don’t offer motivation. I offer methodologies, scripts and workbooks so you work on your results and goals immediately. A pep talk is forgotten by Thursday. A checklist on the front-desk wall is still there next month.

I also make complicated ideas easy to understand. If a concept seems to need a management textbook, I’ll explain it with a tea shop or a hospital queue instead. Sessions are hands-on: your people work on their own roles, scripts and workbook pages in the room.

Business coach or business consultant in Mysuru: which do you need?

A consultant tells you what to change. A coach stays with your people until the change happens. I do both: I design the system with you, then train your team to run it.

For example, a family visits your site on Sunday and says, “We’ll discuss and call you.” Who calls them back, on which day, and what do they say? If the honest answer is “whoever remembers”, that is the gap I work on.

Picture a typical front desk at 11 in the morning. One patient wants the cost of a scan, another is waiting for a report, and the phone keeps ringing. With no script and no clear rules, every question lands on the administrator’s desk.

Colleges and educational institutions

In admission season, a counsellor answers the same parent questions all day. Put those answers into a script with a follow-up sheet, and a new counsellor gives parents the same answers your senior one would.

Corporates and growing businesses

Say you are still approving every small discount yourself. One page of approval rules can take that off your desk.

What does a business coaching programme with me look like?

There is no fixed package. I build each programme around what your CEO, HR head and L&D head want from it. It usually runs in this order:

• We start with a free consultation: what’s going wrong and what you want to change.
• I meet you or your CEO, plus your HR and L&D heads if you have them, to agree the goals and who gets trained.
• I put together a plan: team workshops, one-to-one coaching for you, or both.
• We run the sessions at your office, hospital, campus or site, or live on Zoom.
• Your team keeps the scripts and workbooks after the sessions end.

How much does a business coach cost in Mysore?

My programmes start from ₹30,000 and go up to ₹20 lakh per annum. I put the numbers here because most owners want a rough idea before they call.

Where you fall in that range depends on scope:

• how many people are trained, and at how many levels (owner, managers, staff)
• team workshops, one-to-one coaching for you, or both
• in person at your premises or live on Zoom
• a single focused training or work spread across the year

The first consultation is free. After it, we agree the scope, I share the cost, and you decide.

What is the difference between a business coach and a business consultant?

Think of a consultant as the doctor who writes the prescription, and a coach as the one who makes sure you take the medicine. I do both: I work out with you what needs to change, then train your people until it becomes routine. For GST, tax or company registration, please go to a chartered accountant.

How long does a business coaching programme last?

There is no standard duration. You can start with one focused training for a team or work with me across the year. We fix it together after the first consultation, based on what your CEO, HR head and L&D head need and how many people the programme covers.

How soon will I see results from business coaching?

I can’t promise a date, and I don’t give guarantees. You leave each session with scripts and checklists your team can use the next morning. Across clients, my systems and trainings have improved productivity by 10% to 50%. How fast your own numbers move depends on how consistently your team uses them.

Do you coach online or only in person?

Both. I work in person in Mysuru and across Karnataka, at your office, hospital, campus or site. For teams elsewhere, or spread across locations, I run live sessions on Zoom. Recorded, self-paced courses are also available if you want to learn in your own time.

Can you train my team in Kannada?

Yes. I coach and train in English, Kannada, Hindi and Urdu. Some teams prefer to learn in Kannada, so I explain the same system or script in whichever of these languages your people find easiest. We agree the language at the first consultation.

You get methodologies, scripts and workbooks that stay with your team after I leave. Depending on the programme, that can include role charts, SOP checklists, sales and follow-up scripts and review-meeting formats. They are written in plain language with everyday examples, so your team can use them without me in the room.
